Studio Policies

Attendance/ Tardiness

Dancers are expected to arrive to the studio at least 10 minutes before their class begins. We expect dancers to be in their classes every week unless, of course, your dancer is sick or an emergency comes up. If a dancer is any more than 15 minutes late, they will not be able to attend the class. It is a distraction to the other dancers and the instructor. Also, if a dancer does not show up on time to stretch at the beginning of class, they are more subject to an injury. If less than 3 dancers are in attendance in class, class times may be reduced for the day.

Etiquette

We expect our dancers to come to class on time in proper attire and with a positive attitude. Dancers should always be kind to one another, always inspiring and supporting each other. No cell phones or personal belongings (aside from water) will be allowed in the dance rooms unless permitted by the instructor. We ask that parents do not sit in classrooms in order to avoid distractions. Parents are more than welcome to sit in the lobby and watch their dancers through cameras we have set up in every dance room.

Tuition

  • A registration fee of $25 will be charged per student.

  • Payment is due at the time of registration.

  • Tuition is due by the 1st of every month. All accounts will be on automatic payment. If payment does not go through by the 5th, you will be charged a $25 late fee, no exceptions.

  • Tuition is based off of four classes per month. Some months may have five classes, however rates stay the same to offset the months that include holidays or studio closures.

  • Multi-class discounts and sibling discounts are given. We also offer a 10% discount for all active military and first responders.

  • If you decide to take a break during the season, you must give us a written notice at least 5 days before the first one the month. When you decide to bring your dancer back mid-season, you will have to re-register and pay a $10 re-registration fee.

  • There will be no refunds for missed classes. Dancers are expected to make-up missed classes within a month of the missed class if the schedule permits.

Make-ups

If your dancer misses a class due to illness or for any reason, they may make it up within a month of the missed class. You must let us know that your dancer will be missing prior to the class starting.

Break Room

A break room is provided for our dancers. They may use this room to hang out in between classes and change shoes. Dancers must change their attire in the restrooms. Lockers are provided for dancers to keep their belongings in. Lockers will be assigned through reservations. Dancers must bring their own locks. Dancers are held responsible for all of their belongings and for any trash they bring into this room. Be respectful to all dancers in the room as some may be doing homework. No screaming or horseplay will be allowed. There will be a camera in the break room for safety purposes.

Siblings

We ask that you please make arrangements for children that are not registered dancers, as they may be a distraction and disturbance to our dancers. If siblings must be brought to the studio, please make sure they are supervised. We’d like to create an environment for our dancers to be focused without any outside distractions.

Drop-Offs/ Pick-Ups

Please make sure to bring your dancer to the studio at least 10 minutes prior to class. The safety of our dancers is priority. Always make sure your dancer makes it inside the studio before you leave. Dancers will not be allowed to leave the studio unless their parent is present. If for whatever reason you are late picking up your child, please call us and let us know. Let us know in advance if somebody else will be picking up your child. Please provide their name, contact, and relationship. Please be on time to pick up your dancer.

Photo & Video

Taking photos and videos is prohibited in the dance rooms. We will allow students/parents to record routines for practicing purposes upon approval of the instructor. Instructors often will take photo/video in their classroom for social media purposes. Upon registration, you are required to sign our Liability and Photo release form.

Showcase

We will have two Showcases in the dance season, Christmas Showcase and the Annual Showcase. Participation is optional but highly encouraged. All classes participate except for designated technique classes.
